Arriving in the Philippines on the 4th of April was a special occasion, because I always had the desire to come to this country and now it finally happened. I was excited and really tired. Tired because I had no sleep the whole night, I had to catch my plane at 2.15am and arrived at 4.00 am, only I was out of the airport at 06.30am. This because the plane had to wait for a vacant spot and the immigration desk took forever. I was excited because who wouldn’t. It is a country where nearly nobody goes to and if you do it is something adventures. But I can tell you it is worth it.
Over the last couple of days I haven’t seen any tourist, maybe one. And I do like that being somewhere that is not been discovered by other people, a country that is still fresh.
Tomorrow I will move up with Daisy to Green Daisy farm. Here I will do wwooffing on a farm, this means volunteering on a farm. It is a ride from Manilla to Green Daisy farm which takes about 10/12 hours. It will be the furthest I will come north. I will go to bed early today because tomorrow we will leave at 7/half past 7.
I hope you will discover something new today. Even if it means that you discover that today the clouds are different, it is something!
Love,
Joëlle
